European Roulette
European Roulette is the classic roulette game, when playing this game online you might forget it is not fore real with the realistic sound effects and graphics that the games use today. What is great is that you don’t have to wait on other people you can play your own style of European roulette. It is much more popular than the American roulette as it doesn’t have the additional 00 on the wheel so the odd are less in favour of the house and better for the player!
How to play European Roulette
European roulette is easy to play which is one of the reasons it is so popular and if it’s really easy to play then it is also really easy to win money on too. The notion is simple, you select number you think a ball spinning on a wheel will land on, the number are from 0-36 and are split by black or red colours but with 0 staying green- both on the table and roulette wheel. You decide on a bet then click spin to see if your number comes up. There is a breakdown of what you won and how if your number comes up lucky so you can see which bet types seems to be a better way to win. You can see your total stake on the left so you know how much you are spending each time. European roulette even gives you the winning number history at the bottom of the screen although with online roulette games it is well known that roulette strategies seem to fail. The buttons double, repeat, clear, undo, redo all help to speed up the game as that is one great benefit of playing online you can shape the game however you want, make it fast or slow, high bets or low stakes.
How to bet
You can play in a free fun demo mode or with real cash on European roulette but for the most excitement from this game it’s better to be playing for real! To place a bet you need to first work out how much you of your depositing money you want to risk. The chips can be played in denominations of either 5p, 50p, £1, 5 or £10 and by clicking on a number or bet you place one chip. The minimum stake is 5p and the maximum stake is £1,000 so if you love to see those pounds rolling in or if you like a quick flutter with low stakes either playing style will be content playing on European roulette. As you hover your cursor around the table you will see all the different bets that you can place.
Betting types
As well as the standard inside and outside bets you can also use multiple bets called neighbour or racetrack bets. Inside bets are called this because they refer to those bets out on the inside of the table, so the numbers 0-36 can be bet on in different ways with how you place the chips on the table. Placing a chip just on one number is called a straight up bet and although this is risky the pay-out is 35:1 so you will get a lot if the ball does land on your number. You can place a chip between 2 numbers and this is called a split bet which decreases the pay-out to 17:1 and also corner bets are where you place your chip in the middle of where 4 numbers meet. Outside bets are the bets that are just outside of the numbers. You can win on 1:1 odds with red or black bets and odd or even. The neighbour bets or racetrack bets are a little more complicated. To the left on the screen you will see another roulette table layout with different names over a certain area of numbers; they will be highlighted when you move the cursor over them and how much the stake would be if you placed that bet. The Voisins du Zero is a multiple bet using 9 chips covering 0 and 7 numbers to the right and 9 numbers to the left and Tiers du Cylindre is also a multiple bet. This involves a bet which covers a third of the oval roulette table with 6 chips.
